Uganda Tanzania Safari 9Days/8Nights Station Wagon Minibus /4WD
.Day 1:
Meet and greet at 0730 hrs. Drive west, with a stopover at the Equator for photos, through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards QueenElizabethNational Park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. In the evening, proceed for a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. For dinner and overnight return to Mweya Safari Lodge that is beautifully situated on a bluff overlooking the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward.
Day 2:
Two game drives today. QueenElizabethNational Park's diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. These two game drives and the boat trips (taken prior) are a memorable method of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife.
Day 3:
After breakfast depart for MaramagamboForest, visitors can climb through tropical forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates, including chimpanzee. Visit the BatCaves and the " BlueLake". Drive through the "Switzerland of Africa" area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Kisoro or Bwindi. Dinner/overnight at the respective property.
Day 4:
Early morning entry into Gorilla sanctuary. This rainforest is spectacular. It offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals include the endangered Mt. gorillas, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog etc. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, exciting adventure. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead .
Day 5
Leisurely drive back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for Lunch.

Transfer to Tanzania

Day 1: Dar-Es-Salaam to Mikumi approximately 5 hours journey. Pick-up from Dar Es Salaam early in morning and drive to MikumiNational Park.
Arrive at MikumiNational Park in the afternoon. Check-in, unpack and lunch at the Vuma Hill/Genesis Motel Hotel. Drive safari at the National Park until late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at the Vuma Hill / Genesis Motel Hotel.

Day 2: Game drive. Full day Safari: This will touch every aspect in MikumiNational Park game viewing. Return for lunch in the midday. Drive safari until late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill/Genesis Motel Hotel.

Day 3: Return to Dar-Es-Salaam.
Early morning game drive, return to Vuma Hill/Genesis Motel Hotel for breakfast and packing ready to leave. By AM driving back to Dar es Salaam

Day 1: Depart for Mikumi. Lunch at Vuma Hill/Genesis Motel Hotel. PM Game drive in MikumiNational Park, which is rich in wildlife and contains buffalo, elephant and lion. Also found are zebra, impala, warthog, hippo and giraffe. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp / Genesis Motel Hotel.
Day 2: Game drive. Early morning game drive. Return to Vuma Hill Tented Camp / Genesis Motel Hotel for breakfast. AM Depart for Dar es Salaam.
The 16 tents are large and comfortable with a rather old fashioned colonial décor. Sleeping under canvas at Vuma is a far cry from the discomfort usually associated with camping.

Day: 1 Depart from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game reserve, arrives Selous late afternoon, Boat ride, Dinner and overnight at the Camp site.
There are fluffy cotton dressing gowns and towels and traditionally woven kikoys decorate the beds at Selous Impala Camp Site.
Day : 2 After breakfast a morning game drive is organized. Lunch at the camp followed by an afternoon walking safari return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Selous Impala Camp has a lodge overlooking the river, where guests dine and relax in the day, enjoying a book from the library and a drink from the bar.

Day : 1 :: Depart from Dar es Salaam to RuahaNational Park arrives to Ruaha late afternoon for game drive dinner and overnight at the lodge or camping.
Mwagusi Safari Camp is a well-appointed tented camp built in keeping with traditional African style. The spacious tents are private, their adjacent bathrooms crafted out of thatch and reeds.

Day : 3 After breakfast game viewing en-route back to Dar.
