Rwanda is a boiling pot of cultures and all facets of life are well represented.

The dance, the Music, Food is diverse. Visitors will chance on visiting the national museum in Butare, all the cultural regalia of Rwandese past will be viewed. Basketry is well represented and can be bought off the street or market, Pottery is also a major ingredient of the cultural norms and will be seen with increasing frequency.

The origins or Rwandese people are traced back to the big kingdom of Bunyoro- Kitala who split but several theories say pastoral and agricultural emigrants from the west 2000 years might have settled here.
