It’s pristine, its Montane sliding into large swathes of Bamboo, swamp busting into heath; such is the slope of the Virungas a towering dead Volcano that’s synonymous with parc national des volcans. The plush rainforests are just a facade of what the world comes to see here, "Mountains Gorillas". Our close relatives are awesomely sizable and any visitors will marvel at the towering male silver back among the habituated groups, eclipsing the human size by far.

At close quarters the Gorillas maintain their cool and here lies some of the biggest populations easily accessible todate.The settings of trails transforms abruptly into deep seated areas of park. Visitors will be treated to some beautiful avian kinds, light populations of Elephant, golden monkey and Buffalo. The park is not only populated by wild game but scenic lakes Burera, Ruhondo.The trek to the park my emanate from Kigali or Gisenyi.
