MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Rolling savannah awash with prey serve to sustain large predator populations, This Park is near Dar es Salaam and the road to Iringa bisects it into two. Much of its ecosystem is centered on the uniquely vast Selous game reserve its immediate neighbor. Bird enthusiasts can chance themselves on viewing some the 400 bird species recorded here, for some as the yellow throated longclaw, Lilac breasted roller can be found.
