SERENGETI NATIOANAL PARK

With an indigenous word meaning endless plains, its one of most visited national parks in the country. Lush greenery with wild flowers during the rains, wooded hills, acacia woodlands and towering termite mounds.

Welcome to Serengeti the newest natural wonder on earth, with more than a million herbivores traversing this region spanning either side of the boarder with Kenya and Tanzania. The spectacle of this migration is as old as these plains, a multiplicity of instincts; offcourse survival epitomized, trigger the mass migration of living species ever seen anywhere. Thousands of miles of sunbeaten savannahs preside over a unidirectional migration from December to July and June to October.

The ferocity of the journey could in someway explain the stabilization capabilities of nature, an almost equal termination of life is balanced by the unleashing of new calves coupled with another round of mating to ready for another crop of young ones. One would think the Serengeti is all about wildebeest but the park prides of a tangible herd of up to 200,000 and 300,000 Zebras and Thomson
