Uganda Rwanda Safari 10 Days /9 Nights

Day one:

Drive North West through Luwero via Ziwa white Rhino Sanctuary to Masindi town to Murchison falls National Park arriving after lunch. We proceed to top of Murchison falls after Lunch. We close the night at Paraa Safari Lodge (C) or Red chilli rest Camp. (FB)

Day Two:

After breakfast you take the northern part of the park for a game drive to view and photograph Lions, leopards, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Giraffes, Elephants and numerous bird species. After Lunch a boat launch to the base of the Murchison falls and here are some of the richest Crocodile and Hippopotamus grounds.By now its evening and you retire to lodge for dinner.(FB)

Day Three:

After breakfast you will drive south through the Albertine grabben area via Hoima to Fort portal home Tooro Kingdom seat of power, it’s a backdrop of the Rwenzori mountain. By evening you will be in Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for dinner at Mweya Safari Lodge (C) Mweya hostel (B) its an eight hour or so journey.

Day Four:

You will have breakfast early and head to the park on a Game drive through Kasenyi track and queen’s mile, you are surely going to see Elephants, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Lions and so many . There is tremendous bird life as one hits the Kazinga channel boat launch.You will retire for dinner at the lodge.

Day Five:

Having got a cup of tea you will drive straight to the Kyambura gorge for a forest guided walk to see habituated chimpanzees and numerous primates. This gorge extends tens of kilometers and is several hundred meters deep and can be explored with a walking stick.

This stint when complete will enable you to head on to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day six:

After breakfast you go for an early excursion on Lake Bunyonyi visting various Islands on the Lake birding and sight seeing together visiting the Bakiga cultural site.

You then head to Virunga hills conservation area en route to Rwanda reaching Ruhengeri town just outside Parc National Des Volcans.

Day Seven:

After breakfast you will be briefed by guides and set off to track the mountain Gorillas,

You will need packed lunch, Jacket, Walking stick, Drinking water and jungle boots

An encounter with the primates is definitely going to be rewarding after which you will leave sadly and can sleep over in Mt.Gorilla nest lodge or Kinigi Guest House B.(FB)

Day Eight:

An early breakfast and on the road to Kampala.

Day Nine:

After breakfast you can embark on tour of Kampala to see,Royal tombs places like tombs for this century old Buganda Kingdom, Places of worship or visit Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary

Day Ten:

Departure for Home.
