Queen Elizabeth National Park is located on the Congolese border between Lake Edward and Lake George, on the South of the Rwenzori Mountains and along the Equator.

Mweya Safari Lodge(Luxury): Referred to as the best lodge in Uganda, considering its superb, unique panoramic position on top of the Mweya peninsula facing Lake Edward and Kazinga Channel. Mweya Institute of Ecology (Budget): Referred to as Mweya Hostel. It offers good budget lodging for visitors.

Lodges and Hotels in Bwindi National Park and Kisoro

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the common destination in Uganda for the Mountains Gorilla Tracking.

Engagi Lodge (Luxury): The facility here is well received by visitors. It is has a superb setting. Nice meals and hospitality to visitors.

Volcanoes Bwindi Camp (Moderate): This is an attractive low-key camp consisting of several secluded self-contained standing tents, carved into individual clearings in the surrounding scrub. The restaurant and bar comprises of a wooden deck with a great view over the gallery forest on the park boundary. There is both half and full board accommodation.

Gorilla Forest Camp: (Luxury)This is a tented camp in Bwindi and it’s one of the best in that area. Cut into a lush forest glade 500 metres inside the park entrance at Buhoma. The secluded self contained walk in twin tents are protected beneath a thatch roof extending over a private deck, while meals and drinks are served in an organically decorated open sided common area. A good variety of birds and more occasionally monkeys, regurally find their way to the camp.

Lake Kitandara Tented Camp (Luxury): Has a beautiful setting with caring staff and excellent dishes.

Buhoma Homestead The lodge is composed by several, pretty self contained cottages on the skirt of the hill, within the tropical forest in Buhoma. The location is convenient for the tracking point and the scenery is superb. Enjoy the warm atmosphere of the dining room and veranda.

Nkuringo Gorilla Campsite:
This camp is located in a beautiful swath of the world renowned Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park.

Lodges in Murchison Falls National Park

The biggest conservation area in Uganda, Murchison Falls, in the central area of the country offers a range of very nice lodges accommodation.

Paraa Safari Lodge(Luxury): This is a Luxury Lodge in the Park, with an incredible location and panoramic view on the river Nile and well positioned for starting the game drives and the launch trip on the river. Relax at the swimming pool site and have a very good variety of meals served in the veranda facing the Nile.

Sambyia River Lodge(Moderate): The lodge offers a very pleasant accommodation, made up with standard, comfort self contained cottages. Well located for visiting at the top of Murchison Falls or tracking chimpanzees in Budongo Forest.

Masindi Hotel (Moderate): Located just before entering the National Park, in Masindi town, this is a very nice, traditional, standard hotel, which all the people enjoy for the original design and artistic taste with wooden sculpture and handicraft.

Red Chilli Rest Camp (budget): Red Chilli is one of the best budget facilities in a game park in Uganda.
