Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (1 Day)

Day 1: Visit to Ngamba Island.

Take a visit to the chimpanzees’ island! This day trip includes boat transportation from Entebbe, it is located 23km offshore from Entebbe. UWEC visits and viewing of chimpanzees being fed on the visitors’ plat form and viewing of traditional fishing villages. In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe in and then take a boat ride to the Island. Upon arrival at Ngamba Island, you will be greeted by the duty caregiver of the Chimpanzees and then after you will be able to view and photograph these fascinating apes in their natural environment. This is a unique opportunity from only a few metres away! In the afternoon you will take a boat ride back to Entebbe and return to your hotel for dinner and over night.
