BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
This national park is famous for Gorilla tracking, this forest flourished through ice age and refugee to half the world Gorilla populations, black and white Colobus Monkey plus 23 endemic bird species in this Albertine rift. Tropical rainforest with dense undergrowth and rugged terrain is strenuous for trackers as some hiking is necessary. Visitors will also be able to see red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkey, black and white Colobus, 347 bird species recorded.
Where to stay: Nkuringo camp ground, Clouds gorilla lodge
Main activities are Gorilla tracking, Hiking, and Bird watching.
