Herd of buffalos

Visitors will see diverse animal’s species; bat eared fox, lesser kudu, dikdik, Aardwolf, Burchell, Cape buffalo and black backed Jackal among others.

Hiking is also prominent, cultural performances as well as Karimojong jewellery can be collected. Also here in Moroto Karamoja were the fossilized 20 million year old remains of Morotopithecus the earliest known ancestor of modern apes and humans excavated in the 1960s.They are now housed in the national museum in Kampala.
