With immense savannah growth and home area to Budongo forest, this the biggest national park in Uganda, supports dense lion populations seen with increased frequency, Buffalo, Elephants, Uganda kob, Rothschild’s Giraffe, Patas Monkey.

Boat launch trips at foot of Murchison falls can enable visitors to scan Africa’s richest, largest Crocodiles and Hippo populations in Africa. One can also find the world’s most accessible shoebill stork populations .Rabongo forest is home to Chimps and other rainforest creatures, among the activities are forest walks. The park also derives its name from the falls where billions of liters squeeze themselves into a narrow cleft and explodes with such ferocity, falling 43 meters creating the Murchison falls. This scene is one of the most impressive of its nature in East Africa. The red chilli camp near the paraa river crossing is magnificent ,here is the launching pad for an international invitation fishing tournament setting off in an area about 13 kilometers towards the falls. On this completion with a mixture of sight seeing, birdlife, elephant and buffalo herds

The trophy winners will represent Uganda in the prestigious International game fish association IGFA leading global authority on sport fishing and conservation. Winners will also stand a chance to win some of the 15 motor boats from 15hp to 25 hp and an even bigger30 ft long ice mark vessel with twin 200hp four stroke outboard engines .Competitors will battle through the spray, treacherous rocks and boiling pools found just below this 8^th wonder of the world

What’s wonderful is that the tournament is non profitable, there are few national parks in the world where you can do sport fishing hooking up to 100 kgs

You will spend the night at Paraa safari lodge, a considerable number of budget accommodations in surrounding towns.
